CIS was founded on May 20th, 1997. The President, Jim Jarrett (JJ) felt there was a need for a complete stainless steel sanitary wholesale supply company in the food grade business. CIS was originally operated out of JJ’s home in Richland, Washington, serving customers in the Mid-Columbia area.
